This project involved the comprehensive facility layout design and material flow engineering for the Batangas commercial rice mill plant, prepared specifically for stakeholder approval, regulatory clearances, and turnkey on-site plant setup.
Working from plant capacity requirements, processing sequence criteria, and site boundary dimensions, the scope focused on mapping an efficient, logical equipment flow from raw paddy intake to final milled rice packaging and storage.
A complete 2D engineering drawing package was developed to guide civil integration and machinery installation. This included detailed architectural floor plans, spatial equipment layout diagrams with maintenance clearance envelopes, and vertical elevation drawings detailing intake pits, bucket elevators, cleaners, destoners, hullers, separators, polishers, and grading machinery.
Additionally, a step-by-step process flow diagram (PFD) was created to establish material routing, transfer points, and operational sequencing—providing plant owners, contractors, and machinery vendors with a unified technical blueprint for construction and commissioning.
